Hagani Murvet oglu Huseynli (Huseynov) ( August 11, 1955 - June 18, 2015 ) - Azerbaijani and Ukrainian public and political figure.

Biography
Born in the city of Agdam ( Azerbaijan ). In 1980 he graduated from the Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers . He served in Ukraine in the USSR Missile Forces. From 1982 to 1984 studied at the Military Academy, qualification leader of the nuclear warhead service group.
With the beginning of the national liberation movement in the Azerbaijan SSR, he joined the popular movement. He was one of the members of the defense headquarters of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan (NFA), and later was appointed head of the Executive Power of the Nizami district of the city (July 1992 – July 1993) Baku [1] [2] .
In April 1996, he was appointed deputy general director of the creative and production association Azerteatr for commercial matters. In February 1997, he left this post.
After the fall of power, the Popular Front was one of the founders of the Karabakh Liberation Movement. He was one of the leaders of the Popular Front (member of the Presidium of the Mejlis 1996-2005). From 1997 to 2004 led the Center for Strategic Studies in Baku, since 2004, vice president of the Azerbaijan North Atlantic Cooperation Organization.
In 2003, he was one of the founders of the political side of Our Azerbaijan . Subsequently, he moved to Ukraine, and engaged in social activities, took an active part in the formation of the organization of the Azerbaijani diaspora. In 2008, Hagani Huseynli organized the work of the print edition of the Diaspora “Golos Azeri Newspapers”, attracting experienced journalists to his work. The newspaper, the editor of which he was, was published in Ukrainian, Azerbaijani and Russian. Since 2011, he becomes the head of the executive board of the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine, and since 2012, a member of the presidium and director of the department of nationalities and national minorities of the All-Ukrainian Union of Migrant Workers in Ukraine and abroad. Since October 30, Huseynli was appointed deputy head of this organization.
On the eve of the Orange Revolution , he was an adviser to the head of the PORA civic organization , Vladislav Kaskiv. During the 2004 presidential election campaign, he was the head of the Our Ukraine election headquarters in Crimea. After the victory of Viktor Yushchenko , he became a freelance consultant to the President of Ukraine.
From 2007 to 2010 He was an adviser to the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine on political issues.
During the Euromaidan, Hagani Huseynli provided comprehensive support to the demonstrators and Azerbaijanis participating in it. With the outbreak of hostilities in eastern Ukraine, H. Huseynli provided organizational support to volunteers from Azerbaijan fighting on the side of Ukraine. In August 2014, Huseynli appealed to President Petro Poroshenko with a request to allow the creation of an international battalion to protect the territorial integrity of Ukraine as part of the country's armed forces.
Hagani Huseynli died on June 18, 2015 in his home in the Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of an extensive heart attack.
Hagani Huseynli was married, had two daughters and grandchildren. He is the author of the book Military-Political Analysis of the Karabakh Conflict (1999) and over 60 scientific publications.
