The 2007 Golden Eagle National Award is a film award awarded in 2008 by the National Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Russia with the aim of supporting domestic cinema, preserving the cultural identity and the foundations of national film production, and promoting and promoting the best works of Russian and foreign cinema.
The solemn ceremony of presenting the National Golden Cinema Award for the year 2007 was held on January 25, 2008 in the First Mosfilm pavilion. The winners of the Golden Eagle Prize for 2007 were determined on the eve of the solemn ceremony by direct secret ballot by members and corresponding members of the Academy.

Nominee Selection
For the award in 20 categories were considered [1] :
- Domestic films [comm 1] , first shown in Russia from November 1, 2006 to October 31, 2007.
- Domestic TV shows and television films, the first showing of which was completed between September 1, 2006 and August 31, 2007.
- Foreign films released for rent on the territory of the Russian Federation from November 1, 2006 to October 31, 2007.
An expert council was formed for the selection of nominees, which reviewed feature films, as well as non-fiction films, series and television series, and provided recommendation lists. According to these lists, by secret ballot, members of the Academy selected nominees. Five films were selected in the nomination "Best Film" and three nominees in all other nominations.
On the eve of the ceremony, the second stage of the secret ballot was held to determine the winner in each of the nominations. Also, by decision of the Presidium of the Academy, a special prize was awarded.
