Biography

In 1923 he graduated from Moscow State Technical University , worked at the S. Ordzhonikidze All-Union Scientific Research Chemical-Pharmaceutical Institute ( VNIHFI ). He was one of the organizers of the Department of alkaloids (1928). Pupil and employee A.P. Orekhova .

In 1932, he isolated from the Central Asian plant the heliotrope of fluffy Heliotropium lasiocarpium alkaloids heliotrin and laziokarpin .

Since 1937, the head. laboratory of phytochemistry (laboratory of natural compounds).

In 1939 he defended his doctoral dissertation on alkaloids.

The Stalin Prize of 1947 - for scientific research in the field of alkaloid chemistry, culminating in the work: "Research on the alkaloids of Hakat kakaliya" and "Research on the alkaloids of trachelanthus korolkovi" (1945). Since 1952, professor at the Institute of Experimental and Clinical Oncology, Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR laboratory of chemistry of natural compounds.
