He studied at the Ukrainian gymnasium in Przemysl, where he began his football appearances. At the age of 16, he began his football career as the striker of the San club from Przemysl, who, together with the Lviv Ukraine , was one of the best Ukrainian clubs in the Lviv district league of pre-war Poland.

During the war years he turned out to work in Austria . In Vienna, I tried my hand at the best Austrian football club - “Rapid” . After that, he returned to Lviv, played for Spartak and ALC (Lviv). He ended his career as a player in the SKA team and for many years was the coach of this club ^[2] .
