Biography
Born on August 10 (August 22 according to a new style ) in Moscow in 1879 in the family of a former serf.
After completing one course of the gymnasium, he studied at the Moscow Higher Technical School. Since 1898 for 20 years he worked in various theaters in Moscow and the Russian Empire - Ryazan, Tiflis, Ufa, Nikolaev, Pskov, Vilno and other cities.
In 1920, Rybnikov volunteered for the Red Army and served for two years as a flag-secretary of the fleet commander, combining military service with the activities of the director of the drama theater, where he worked as appointed by the Department of Public Education of Sevastopol.
After being demobilized from the army, he served in the theater of the former Korsh in Moscow. Since 1927, Nikolai Rybnikov - actor of the Maly Theater. Also starred in films, debuting in 1913.
He died on January 21, 1956 in Moscow. He was buried in the Novodevichy cemetery (2nd section, 16th row).
