Isography (from the Greek. Ίσος - equal and Greek. Γραφή - writing) - the exact reproduction or facsimile of any writing, as well as a collection of photographs from genuine letters, manuscripts and signatures of famous people [1] .
In Ancient Russia, the words “isography” and “ isograph ” were used in the meaning of the words “painting” and “painter” or “ icon-painting ” and “ icon-painter ” [1] .
