Origin
Low - temperature hydrothermal - found in the veins with barite , calcite , siderite . Sedimentary - in manganese deposits , together with pyrolusite . In low-temperature hydrothermal deposits it is found in association with barite , siderite , braunite, and other minerals. Occurs in residual clays , sometimes in deposits of hot springs.
