Biography

Born in 1877 in Moscow in the family of a working, harmonious amateur amateur Nikolai Ivanovich Ivanov.

From the age of five, Vasily performed in one of the rooms of V. L. Durov , riding on a circus ring with a harmonica riding a pig . He also performed in restaurants, at celebrations and fairs.

In the years 1918-1920, Vasily Ivanov played in the Moscow Kremlin at dinners in which all residents and workers of the Kremlin took part, from members of the government to cleaners. In the 1920s, Ivanov worked with the choir of M.E. Pyatnitsky . For some time he accompanied O.V. Kovaleva . He was a member of the VSERABIS trade union for setting tariffs for accordionists and button accordionists, as well as a member of the jury of harmonics contests of 1926-1928. [one]

He lived in Moscow on Krasnoprudnaya street. Died of a heart attack in a tram in 1936 in Moscow. He was buried at the Bogorodsky cemetery .
