Key Scientific Achievements
- In 1973 he defended his thesis on the topic “Kinetics of the interaction of hydrogen atoms with inhibitors”, devoted to the development of the “contact time” method for determining the reaction rate constants of hydrogen atoms with various combustion process inhibitors using EPR spectroscopy. The resulting constants are included in the reference book "Constants of the rate of gas-phase reactions" M. Ed. USSR Academy of Sciences edited by Academician V.N. Kondratiev.
- In June 2002, the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, the International Academy of Authors of Scientific Discoveries and Inventions, and the International Association of Authors of Scientific Discoveries, as the leader of a scientific group, were given a diploma for the opening of "The phenomenon of low-temperature cold-flame soot formation." In December of that year, we were awarded the First Prize. K.I. Satpayev for the best achievements in the field of natural sciences. Co-authors of the discovery of V.T. Popov (Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis, USSR Academy of Sciences), B.K. Tuleutaev and T.T. Tutkabaeva.
- Study of the structure of the flame front of hydrocarbons. Using the method of electron paramagnetic resonance and freezing on liquid nitrogen, concentration profiles of peroxide radicals in two-stage flames of diethyl ether are obtained. On the recommendation of academician V.N. Kondratvea article was published in the USSR Academy of Sciences. Doctoral dissertation Z.A. Mansurova is devoted to the study of low-temperature soot formation, which made it possible to take a fresh look at the mechanism of the soot formation process. Subsequently, this topic was developed by him in the direction of methods for producing soot and, especially recently, for the production of nanocarbon materials - fullerenes and carbon nanotubes and graphenes
- Methods have been developed for producing olefins during the cold flame oxidation of pentane and a method for producing methane during combustion, which are protected by copyright and a positive solution.
- For the first time, peroxide radicals were detected in the front of stationary cold flames of diethyl ether and hexane and the distribution of the concentration of radicals in the flame front was studied.
- For the first time, hydrogen atoms were detected in cold hydrocarbon flames and a profile of their concentration in the front of a cold butane flame was obtained. The essential role of hydrogen atoms in the low-temperature combustion of hydrocarbons is shown.
- It was established that in the oscillation mode of oxidation, a periodic change in radicals is observed due to the periodic propagation of the flame front through the hot mixture.
- Based on new experimental data on the synthesis of fullerenes and graphenes, a complete soot formation scheme has been developed for any type of hydrocarbon fuel.
- Based on renewable agricultural waste products (rice husks, walnuts, etc.), nanocarbon materials of various functional purposes have been developed: INGO-1 - hemosorbents for blood purification; INGO-2 - enterosorbents for improving the intestinal flora; INGO-3 carbon nanomaterials to improve soil structure.
- Successfully started work on the creation of multi-color 3D-printing and work on 3D-printing of metals to obtain products from titanium and aluminum alloys.
