Confessional Communities

Protestant community

There is no Protestant church in Parndorf, since the residence of the tolerant church parish of the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession of Austria for local parishioners is located in Zurndorf . According to official figures of the Evangelical Church of Austria , as of December 31, 2015, 1,044 parishioners lived in the entire parish, including 1,041 of the Augsburg Confession and three of the Helvetian Confession . [1] Parishioners of the Augsburg Confession belong to the tolerant church parish of Zurndorf of the Evangelical Superintendence of Burgenland , which includes the nearby cadastral communities and villages of Gattendorf , Neudorf bei Parndorf (Neudorf) , Parndorf, Potsnoysidl and Zurndorf . In April 2011, 1,045 evangelical Christians lived in the parish, mostly in Zurndorf. [2]

The church parish for all parishioners of the Helvetian Confession of Parndorf and Burgenland is located in the Reformed community of Oberwart . [3]
