Volodarsky district ( Ukrainian: Volodarsky district ) is an administrative unit in the south-west of the Kiev region of Ukraine . The administrative center is Volodarka .

The main rivers are Ros .
The district borders in the north with Skvirsky and Belotserkovsky , in the south with Tetievsky districts of the Kiev region , in the west with the Pogrebischensky district of Vinnitsa region , in the east with the Stavishchensky district of Kiev region.
History
The district was formed on March 7, 1923 from Volodarsky and Parkhomovsky volosts [2] . Between 1963 and 1967 the territory of the district was part of the Tetievsky district .
Demographics
The population of the district is 23 345 people ( 2006 data), including about 7 540 people living in urban conditions. In total there are 37 settlements.

Attractions
In the Volodarsky district there is the village of Nove zhittya , where during the Great Patriotic War the Germans burned down all the huts, and drove all the inhabitants who did not have time to escape (150 people) into two extreme houses, doused with gasoline and set it on fire. One woman managed to escape - Anastasia. In that place, in the last quarter of the 20th century, a monument was erected (author - Victor Marchenko). Even in the Volodarsky district in the village of Parkhomovka, the Svyatopokrovskaya Church (Parkhomovka, Kiev region) is located.
