Career
The season of 2014 began with participation in the cross-country ING Eurocross , where he finished in 3rd place [1] . June 17, 2014 took 2nd place in the 3000m race at the Golden Spike Ostrava - 7.36.28 [2] . October 12, took 2nd place in the run 4 Mijl van Groningen - 17.35 [3] .
In the 2015 season , he began performing at the stages of the Diamond League. On May 15, the Qatar Athletic Super Grand Prix finished in 5th place in the 3000m race - 7.39.99 [4] . After 2 weeks, he won the 5000 meter race at Prefontaine Classic - 13.10.54 [5] . June 4 became the winner of the Golden Gala Pietro Mennea with the best result of the season in the world, as well as a personal record - 12.58.39 [6] . For the first time in his career, he ran this distance faster than 13 minutes.
He performed at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing at a distance of 5000 meters, where he took 4th place. September 11 became the winner of the Van Damme Memorial with the best season result in the world - 12.53.98 [7] . As a result, he became the winner of the 2015 Diamond League .
