Game Modes
Football Manager
It is a fully functional game mode. It differs from the "Football Manager Classic" in great opportunities for managing the club.
Football Manager Classic
This mode, first introduced in Football Manager 2013 , allows players to complete the football season in less time than in normal game mode. It stores a 3D match engine and a database of the players and employees of the club, but the management methods of the club are simplified, which allows players to focus on key aspects of the game and successfully conduct each match. The player can complete the season in approximately 7 hours of gameplay. The gameplay in this mode is a bit “cut”: for example, the club cannot be punished by FFP , however, the management will not allow you to scatter money left and right. Also in this mode there is no application list of players, some items on which players may be unhappy, etc.
Tests
A game mode in which you are given a specific task (for example, with a team consisting of young players, do not fly out of the championship). Your main task is to fulfill it.
Game Features
- Unlocked features in the game are preserved (for example, players can remove the need for work permits, add money to the transfer budget, or even create students in the youth training system. After reaching certain points in the game, players can earn some unlockable elements).
- Completely redone User Interface
- Deeper manager pre-game setup
- The biggest breakthrough in a 3D match since FM 09 with Motion Capture and an improved 3D engine
- Completely new roles for players, this feature makes it much finer to set the style of your game for a player.
- New PPM (Preferred Player Actions)
- More efficient and realistic scouting
- Faster and smarter search
- A variety of conversations with the player
- Updated rules and financial requirements. Since financial fair play has now become an important topic of discussion, we must be sure that the game database is fully consistent with the new rules and calculations. In top divisions, salary restrictions have been added to prevent you from spending too much in accordance with the principles of profitability and sustainability, which are part of the FPP. You will also be notified of the requirements of the FFP at the first meeting with management, and you will become much clearer what exactly is required from a financial point of view when you begin your career.
- Improvements in the history and profile of the manager
- More detailed and varied job interviews compared to version 14 of the game
- Mentality and new coaching styles in training
- Opportunity for players to grow a mustache for a Movember charity event. You probably noticed that many advertising posters in the FM were given to various charities. This year, developers went further and introduced a new partner: Movember. Instead of just adding another poster, you will notice that every season some players will join the Movember promotion and will grow a mustache throughout November. We have added not only different types of mustache, but also different stages of growth.
- Integration Twitch.tv
1 - The German national team was not allowed to be included in the game due to licensing rights owned by EA Sports (for the FIFA series of games) and Konami (for the Pro Evolution Soccer series of games), while the Japanese J. League and the Japanese national team were not allowed to include into the game in connection with Konami's acquisition of exclusive license rights for the Pro Evolution Soccer series of games.
