History
The status and boundaries of a rural settlement are established by the Law of the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated June 15, 2004 No. 60-З “On the Allocation of Municipalities - Cities, Workers' Settlements and Village Councils of the Nizhny Novgorod Region with the Status of Urban, Rural Settlement” [3] .
By the Law of the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated September 5, 2012 No. 110-З [4], the municipalities — rural settlements of Zhureleiski , Karkaleysky and Chuvarley-Maidan village councils were transformed, by combining them, into the municipal formation Chuvarley-Maidan village council, endowed with the status of a rural settlement.
According to the Law of the Nizhny Novgorod Region No. 39-Z [5] of April 7, 2017, municipalities - the urban settlement Ardatov working village and the rural settlement Chuvarley-Maidan village council were transformed, by unification, into the municipal formation the Ardatov working village , endowed with the status of urban settlement.
