Story
The film gives a brief description of the work of Werner Herzog. The director visits the places of his childhood, talks about how he likes to work during long walks, speaks about what inspired him for this or that film. The film contains excerpts from some of Herzog’s works, accompanied by his commentary, as well as shots in which he talks with his friends, mountain climber Reinhold Messner and film critic Lotta Eisner .
