Klishin, Ilya Sergeevich

Ilya Sergeevich Klishin (b. September 4, 1987 , Tambov ) - Russian journalist, publicist , editor-in-chief of the Dozhd TV channel website in 2013-2016, currently the head of the digital editorial office of the RTVi international TV channel.

Biography

Born on September 4, 1987 in Tambov. In 2003-2004 studied in the USA. He graduated from MGIMO , also studied at the University. Aristotle of the Greek city of Thessaloniki .

In December 2011, he created pages on social networks through which rallies for fair elections were organized on Bolotnaya Square and Sakharov Avenue. In January 2012, he reported [1] about the attention of law enforcement agencies to his parents.

Collaborated with RIA Novosti news agency , OpenSpace.ru , Newsru.com , Slon.ru portals, columnist of the Vedomosti newspaper, Snob magazine and Carnegie center. In 2011, he sold [2] the site Epic-Hero.ru, of which he was a co-founder, to the editorial board of OpenSpace.ru, and the youth site WOS.ru was created on its basis.

In 2011, the Aktsiya newspaper named Klishin one of the young people of the year.

Since March 2013, he has been the editor-in-chief of the Dozhd TV channel website. In January 2014, he removed from the channel’s website the question of the blockade of Leningrad , which led to the removal of Rain from most of the largest cable operators in Russia, and made a public apology.

In June 2015, the British newspaper Guardian included Klishin in the list of 30 promising Muscovites under the age of 30 [3] .

In August 2016, he left the Rain TV channel and headed [4] the website of the RTVI channel
