Career
The pupil of the club "Verdal". Since the 2008 season, he began to play for his first professional Levanger team. He managed to interest Rosenborg breeders with his game and in August 2009 Svensson moved to Trondheim. Beginning in the 2011 season, become the player of the foundation of Rosenborg, speaking as a midfielder. On June 3, 2011, Yunas scored for the first time in Tippelig , in a game against Sarpsborg 08 . And on July 13, 2011, Svensson made his debut in the Champions League , in a game against the Icelandic Breidablik [2] .
Starting from the 2014 season, the coaching staff of Rosenborg will re-qualify Yunas as a right-back, in view of the difficult situation with those in the team. Initially, such castling was considered as a temporary measure, but Svensson’s confident play in this position convinced the Trondheim leadership. As a result, in the summer of 2014, after a successful performance at the 2014 World Cup , Rosenborg sells Christian Gamboa to the English West Bromwich Albion , leaving Svensson as the main right back in the team.
In the spring of 2015, Yunas signs a new long-term contract with Rosenborg [3] . He became the youngest player in club history to play 200 official matches for Rosenborg.
In the summer of 2016, Rosenborg rejected the offer of the Turkish Trabzonspor to buy for 15 million NOK.
In January 2017, Yunas bought the Dutch club AZ. Transfer value 1.6 million euros , the contract is valid until June 30, 2021 [4] .
