Biography
Born on April 28 ( May 10 according to the new style) in 1887 .
Initially performed in amateur performances. Since 1904, he played with professional actors in the People’s House in Sokolniki and in the Moscow Aquarium . Since 1908 he worked in the theaters of Siberia, Arkhangelsk and Novorossiysk , where he performed comedic roles, later worked in miniature theaters.
Since 1919 P.N. Paul is an artist of the Tbilisi Drama Theater, then he worked in the theaters of Kislovodsk , Pyatigorsk , Vladikavkaz . In 1922, Paul worked at the Crooked Jimmy Theater in Moscow, and in 1924 at the former Korsh Theater (Moscow). Then he participated in the organization of the Moscow Theater of Satire , in which he subsequently worked. Also acted in films.
He died in 1955 in Moscow. He was buried at the Novodevichy cemetery [1] (4 plots, 55 rows). His wife, Sinitsyna Evgenia Vasilievna (1896-1974), was buried with him.
