Khorezm automobile plant GM Uzbekistan

The enterprise was founded on July 05, 2013 with the support of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan. (Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the program for the development of the industrial potential of the Khorezm region for 2013-2015" No. 1856 dated 11/22/2012 and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to organize the production of passenger cars of the Damas model in the Khorezm region" No. 51 dated February 21, 2013). Chevrolet Damas, Chevrolet Labo cars are produced at the plant and the Chevrolet Orlando compact van is being assembled. The reason for the transfer of production of the Damas model from the main production in Asaka, Andijan region to Pitnak, was an increase in production capacities in the main production.
