Content
Club career
Clement is a pupil of the Vysochina club. On March 9, 2012, in his match against Caslav , he made his debut for the team [2] . In the same year, Yang, together with the team, entered the elite at the end of the season. On February 22, 2013, in a fight against Hradec Kralove , he made his debut for a club in the Gambrinus League [3] . On April 19, in a match against Teplice , Clement scored his first goal for Vysočina [4] .
At the beginning of 2014, in order to get playing practice, Jan on a leasehold moved to the Slovak Dukla . On March 1, in a match against the Slovenian Bratislava , he made his debut in the Slovak Super League [5] . After the lease was over, he returned to Vysochina.
On June 29, 2015, Clement moved to the German club Stuttgart , with whom he signed a contract until 2019 [6] . On August 16, in his match against Cologne , he made his debut in the Bundesliga , replacing Martin Harnik in the second half [7] . On October 3, in a match against Hoffenheim , Clement scored his first goal for Stuttgart [8] .
In the summer of 2016, in order to get playing practice, Jan on a loan was transferred to the Danish Brondby [9] . In his match against Aalborg , he made his debut in the Danish Super League . On October 16, in a duel against Norschelland , Clement scored his first goal for Brondby [10] . On July 8, 2017, Clement’s rental at Brondby was extended for another season [11] . In early April 2018, Yang seriously injured his knee due to which he fell out of order for a long time [12] .
International Career
In 2015, Clement took part in the home youth European Championships as part of the Czech youth team . In the tournament, he played in matches against the national teams of Denmark [13] , Serbia [14] and Germany [15] . In a duel against the Serbs, Jan made a hat-trick , thanks to which he became the top scorer of the youth European championship.
On September 1, 2017, he made his debut for the country's national team , replacing him at the 76th minute in the qualifying match of the 2018 World Cup against Germany . The match ended with the defeat of the Czechs 1: 2 [16] .
