Title

In the XIX century it is referred to as Britovka . The name is associated with the non-calendar personal name Shaved [3] .

Geography

The village of Britovo is located in the western part of the Ramenskoye district, about 9 km south-west of the city of Ramenskoye . Altitude 140 m [4] . 2.5 km east of the village flows the Moscow River. There are 3 streets in the village - Lesnaya, Reliable and Liberty; attributed to 2 SNT - Veteran-4K and Luch [5] . The nearest village is the village of Holudenevo .

History

In 1926, the village was the center of the British village council of the Velinsky volost of the Bronnitsky district of Moscow province [6] .

Since 1929 - a settlement in the Ramensky district of the Moscow district of the Moscow region [7] .

Before the municipal reform of 2006, the village was part of the Timoninsky rural district of the Ramensky district [8] .
