Nikolai Nikolaevich Selivanov ( 1905 - 1965 ) - Soviet architect; was secretary of the board of the Union of Architects.

Biography
Born May 15, 1905 in Ryazan.
He graduated in 1930 MVTU them. Bauman and the Faculty of Advanced Studies of the Academy of Architecture in 1941.
In 1928-1932 he worked at the State Institute of Structures of the Supreme Council of the National Economy, then - in the workshop of N. D. Collie , the construction department of the Palace of Soviets and Giprogor. In 1931-1939 he taught at the Moscow Architectural Institute and MIIT (1934-1937).
In the 1950s, Selivanov worked in the workshop No. 1 of the Mosproject, from 1956 - the deputy chairman of the Architectural and Construction Council, in 1961-1965 - the head of the workshop No. 2 of the Mosproject [1] and the chief architect of the Leningrad district of Moscow .
He lived in Moscow on Leningradsky Prospekt 14. He died on November 27, 1965 in Moscow. He was buried at the Novodevichy Cemetery (6th section, 29th row) [2] [3] , the tombstone authors are architects S. Volkov and B. Zayonchkovskaya.
Works
According to the architect’s projects, the editorial building of the Moscow Worker Publishing House (1951-1954), the river and fisheries pavilion at VDNH (1950-1953), and the hotel complex VDNH (1954-1955) were built; residential buildings on Zhitnaya street (1940–1943), on Leningradsky prospect (1952–1955), on Prospekt Mira (1956–1958) and on Frunzenskaya embankment (1940). N. N. Selivanov, one of the project managers of the Khimki-Khovrino district development area (1962-1965) and the Severny settlement [5] , designed (together with co-authors) a complex of student dormitories ( 1930s ), the building of the Financial Institute (1955).
