Biography

In 1969, during the summer holidays, secretly from his parents enrolled in the sambo section. His first coach was Felix Kutsel . I had to ride trainings with passing vehicles from Argun , where he lived, to Grozny . Soon became the champion of the republic among young men.

In 1971 he was drafted into the army. He served in Budapest ( Hungary , Southern Group of Forces ) in a sports company. Over the years, he won many victories at prestigious competitions. After the end of the service, he was persuaded to remain in long service. But in connection with the death of his father, he was forced to return to his homeland.

Ayubov has two brothers and three sisters. In order to feed them, he got a job as a boiler operator at the Argun TPP . Then he went to work at the Pishchemash factory as an electrician. He continued to train at the factory gym. In 1975, he switched to coaching at the Republican Children's Sports School. In the same year he fulfilled the standard of the USSR master of sports. In 1977, he became the republic's champion in sambo and judo, and after that he left the sport, concentrating entirely on coaching.

Coaching

In 1977, his student Umar Bisultanov became the silver medalist of the USSR Sambo Championship in the category up to 48 kg, and subsequently four times became the champion of the country. In 1982, another Ayubov’s pupil, Aldam Ependiyev , became the USSR champion in sambo, and then twice became the champion of the USSR and once the champion of Europe in judo. Then, the Dikiev brothers began to achieve noticeable success. He became the champion of Russia and Europe Sheikh-Magomed Vakaev . The winners of the Youth Olympic Games were Sulim Dovtukaev and Magomed Akhmarov .

In 1987 he graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education of the Chechen-Ingush State University . Engaged in coaching for over 40 years. Heads the republican school of higher sportsmanship . In 2009, he was elected to the Council of Deputies of Argun.
