Biography

Ivan Mikhailovich Bely was born on June 26, 1922 in the village of Vygostrov (now the Belomorsky district of Karelia ). He graduated from eight classes of school. In July 1941, Bely was called up for service in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army . He participated in the Great Patriotic War , repeatedly threw himself into the German rear with special sabotage and reconnaissance missions. After the war he served in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Red Army . In 1947, with the rank of foreman, Bely was demobilized [1] .

Since 1951, Bely worked at the pilot plant No. 37 of the Scientific Research Institute No. 37 as a regulator of radio equipment, a team leader of regulators, and a senior engineer - regulator of electronic equipment. He took an active part in the creation of Soviet radar stations , stationary radar units and many other advanced at that time types of radio engineering [1] .

By a closed Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of July 29, 1966 for "outstanding services in fulfilling the plan of the 7th Five-Year Plan (1959-1965) and creating new technology," Ivan Mikhailovich Bely was awarded the high title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the medal " Hammer and Sickle ” [1] .

In 1995, retired. He lived in Moscow . He died on November 4, 2004, was buried at the Nikolo-Arkhangelskoye cemetery in Moscow [1] .

He was also awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, two orders of the Patriotic War of the 2nd degree, a number of medals [1] .
