Career
Club
He made his debut in the “ Red Star ” on May 26, 2013, in the match of the championship of Serbia against “ Vojvodina ” [1] . In 2014, he also played under a double contract for Kolubara [2] .
In January 2015, it was reported that Crvena Zvezda rejected the offer of Roma to purchase Gruich [3] , and in the spring Hamburg offered him a half million euros [4] . Gruich ultimately signed a new contract with Red Star until 2018 [5] , although Benfica and Sampdoria also showed interest in the player [6] .
On December 23, 2015, it was announced that Crvena Zvezda accepted the offer of the English Liverpool to purchase Gruich for 5.1 million pounds. However, on the same day the father of the football player said that he would not allow Marco to move to England, for which he took his passport from his son [7] .
On January 6, 2016, Liverpool officially announced the signing of a four-year contract with Gruich. According to the terms of the deal, in the season 2015/2016 he continued to play for Crvena Zvezda, and on July 1, 2016 he joined the English club. Gruich was Jurgen Klopp 's first acquisition as Liverpool coach. The German expert noted that Marco, with high growth, has good speed and technique, can play a pass or dribble [8] .
On August 19, 2018, he went on loan to the Hertha club. On December 8, 2018, Marco Gruich scored his first goal for Hertha in the match against the Eintracht club.

Gruić played for the youth national teams of Serbia, played in the qualifying tournaments of the European Championship 2014 (under 17 years old) and 2015 (under 19 years old) .
At the 2015 World Cup victory for the youth national team of Serbia , he played in 5 matches [9] .
