The Trinity (Quadrangular) tower is one of the unreserved towers of the Kitaygorod wall . Named after the nearby Trinity Church in the Fields (also demolished). Another name - Quadrangular - received due to the quadrangular shape.

Initially, the tower had a passage gate that led to the bridge over the moat on Rozhdestvenka Street . They were later laid. It was demolished in 1934 along with most of the Kitay-Gorod wall.
