Marino Morosini ( Italian: Marino Morosini ) ( 1181 - 1253 ) - 44th Venetian Doge , representative of the noble family Morozini .

Morozini was elected a Doge at the age of 68. At the time of his election, he served as Prosecutor of San Marco. Throughout his life, Morozini was the ruler of Candia , was one of the ambassadors at the Second Lyon Cathedral .
Morozini was married, but had no children, except for one son, a foster.
During the reign of the Doge, the Republic was at peace. Venice practically did not participate in the crusade led by Louis IX .
In relations with the Holy See , Venice made some concessions and allowed the inquisition court to be present in the state. However, she reserved the right to appoint judges.
Marino Morozini died on January 1, 1253 .
