- 1974 - graduated from the directing department of the Department of Culture of the State Pedagogical Institute after Kh. Abovyan.
- 1974 - takes a re-training course at the Taganka Theater in Moscow, in Lyubimov’s workshop.
- 1978 - graduated from the higher directing courses of the State Committee for Radio and Television.
