Biography
Born January 1, 1971 in the family of a soldier.
In 1990, he graduated from high school number 78 in the village of Chernyshevsk-Zabaykalsky in the Chita Region. After graduation, he entered the Novosibirsk State University at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, which he graduated in 1995.
In 1998-2000, obedience took place at the Nativity of the Virgin Sanaksar Monastery in Mordovia [1] .
On March 12, 2000, he came to obedience at the reviving Ambassadorial Holy Transfiguration Monastery in the village of Posolskoye in the Kabansky District of the Republic of Buryatia [2] , and on June 19 of that year he was admitted to the Transfiguration Monastery as a novice [1] .
On July 21, 2001, Bishop Eustathius (Evdokimov) of Bishop of Chita and Transbaikalia was tonsured a monk with the name Nicholas in honor of the martyr Tsar Nicholas II [3] .
On July 23, 2001, Bishop Eustathius of Bishop of Chita and Transbaikalia was ordained a hierodeacon . July 24, 2001 he was ordained as hieromonk [2] .
June 25, 2001 appointed and. about. the governor of the Ambassadorial Transfiguration Monastery, becoming her second governor of the monastery after her revival [3] .
On July 18, 2002, work began on the restoration of the cathedral of the monastery, which is the oldest stone church in Buryatia . During the summer and autumn of 2003, its destroyed third light floor was restored, and the construction of the southeast corner tower of the future fence of the monastery began [3] .
On August 30, 2003, ceremonies were held in the village of Posolskoye dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the village and the Transfiguration of the Savior Monastery [3] .
In 2003 he entered the correspondence sector of the Tomsk Theological Seminary [1] .
From May 15, 2005 to July 30, 2006, he was senior hieromonk of the Holy Trinity Selenginsky Monastery in the village of Troitskoye, Pribaikalsky District, Buryatia.
July 31, 2006 was appointed Acting Viceroy of the Ambassadorial Holy Transfiguration Monastery [1] .
In June 2007, he was appointed dean of the Kaban district .
In 2009 he graduated from the Tomsk Theological Seminary in absentia [1] .
In December 2009, he was appointed dean of the monasteries of the Ulan-Ude diocese . On December 25, 2009, by the decision of the Holy Synod, he was approved as governor of the Ambassadorial Transfiguration Monastery [4] .
April 7, 2010 in the Ambassadorial Transfiguration Monastery, Bishop Savvaty (Antonov) was elevated to the rank of hegumen [5] .
In 2010, he was appointed confessor of the Ulan-Ude diocese.
In 2014 he graduated from the History Department of Buryat State University .
On May 5, 2015, by the decision of the Holy Synod, he was elected bishop of Severobaikalsky and Sosnovo-Ozersky [6] .
May 16, 2015 in the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker of the Holy Trinity Selenginsky Monastery, Archbishop of Ulan-Ude and Buryat Savvaty (Antonov) was elevated to the rank of Archimandrite [7] .
