Biography

  • 1975 - 1980 - Yerevan State Medical Institute.
  • 1980 - 1981 - internship at Yerevan Emergency Hospital N1. Plastic surgeon.
  • 1981 - 1984 - worked as a doctor at the Yerevan ambulance station.
  • 1984 - 1986 - clinical intern at the Yerevan branch of the All-Union Scientific Surgical Center (VNHTS).
  • 1986 - 1991 - a microsurgeon at the All-Russian Exhibition Center.
  • 1990 - 1991 - passed retraining at Yale University ( USA ).
  • 1991 - 1994 - worked at the Institute of Surgery. Mikaelian is the head of the department, the head of the center of plastic surgery.
  • 1994 - 1997 - Head of the Department of the Erebuni Medical Center.
  • 1997 - 1998 - was the Minister of Health of Armenia .
  • 1998 - 2000 - Director of the Yerevan Center for Reconstructive Surgery.
  • 2000 - 2003 - Executive Director of the medical center "St. Nerses the Great ”( Yerevan ).
  • May 25, 2003 - elected to parliament. Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee on Social Affairs, Social Affairs of Health and Nature Conservation. Member of OTP.
  • Since December 2003 - Executive Director of the Kanaker-Zeytun Medical Complex.
