Vasily Timofeevich Ivanov ( 1864 , Sloboda Rybinsky Budy , Kursk province - May 6, 1938 , Krasnodar ) - clergyman of the Russian Orthodox Church , archpriest, last rector of the Stavropol Theological Seminary until its closure in 1920, teacher .

Biography
Vasily Ivanov was born in 1864, a native of the settlement of Rybinsk Budy (now - Oboyansk district of Kursk region).
He graduated from the Kursk Theological Seminary, then worked as a teacher at the Oboyansk Theological College [1] .
In 1887 he entered, and in 1891 he graduated from the Kiev Theological Academy .
From 1902 to 1906 he taught at the Tambov Theological Seminary .
From 1906 to May 8, 1915 - inspector of the Kursk diocesan school. He also held the position of law teacher.
From May 1915 to May 1920 - rector of the Stavropol Theological Seminary .
After the seminary closed on May 18, 1920, he lived outside the state in the city of Yeysk, Krasnodar Territory . In the city of Yeysk, he served in the Cathedral Church until 1930, left due to illness, had a stroke. (narrated by his son, Mikhail, 1905-1996) On February 5, 1938 he was arrested on charges of participating in a counter-revolutionary rebel group.
He died in a prison in the city of Krasnodar from pulmonary tuberculosis on May 6, 1938 [2] .
Rehabilitated October 2, 1991. The burial place is not known.
