Description

The goal of the game is to get Dave alive through ten levels and collect ten trophies. The trophy looks like a golden cup. Dave has 4 lives, and each time he reaches 20,000 points, he gets a new one. To increase points, you can collect other objects scattered by level: blue and red gems, rings, crowns, scepters, but this is not necessary. The only compulsory thing at the level is the trophy. As soon as Dave finds a trophy at the level, a wooden door opens and he can move on to the next level. A prompt appears at the bottom of the game screen: “Go thru the door” (go through the door). Some trophies cannot be obtained by conventional means, so you have to use a jetpack (a jetpack that allows you to fly).

There are dangers in the game: fire, water and plants. Getting into them, Dave dies, and the level begins again. At some levels, there are monsters: suns and spiders that throw yellow comets at Dave. They can be killed with a pistol. Sometimes due to his absence, you have to touch the monster, while the monster dies, but the player loses one of his lives. It is worth noting that in the game there are no " bosses " - huge monsters with many lives, but the last levels look impassable even without them. There is no save function, so you have to start every time from the beginning of the level, and if the hero loses all his life, the game will start from the beginning.

In addition to the standard in the game there are four special levels, which are called warp zone . To get into them, you need to do something strange and dangerous (for example, go beyond the "edge" of the level).

It should be noted that for the passage of the game requires some knowledge obtained experimentally. So, for example, in the last levels there are false platforms (falling from them almost always leads to Dave's death and loss of life) and, without knowing the location of these platforms, you cannot pass the level. In addition, the game has some tricks, following which facilitates the passage. Thus, for a beginner, the first levels will seem difficult, and for someone who has already completed the game, there will be no difficulty in any of the 10 levels, and he will pass it “on the machine”.
