Bluto, Loter

Loter Bluteot ( French: Lothaire Bluteau , born April 14, 1957 , Montreal ) is a Canadian actor. He speaks both French and English. Best known for his role as French ambassador Charles de Marillac at the court of King Henry VIII in the fourth season of the historical television series The Tudors and Marcus Alvers in the third season of the television series 24 Hours . Bluto also played the ninth-century French emperor Charles II the Bald in the third and fourth seasons of the television series Vikings . Among the many roles of the actor in the movie, “ Jesus from Montreal ” (Daniel) and “ Addiction ” (Horst) stand out.

Awards and recognition

In 1990, Bluto received the Gini Award for Best Actor for his work in the film Jesus from Montreal , and in 1996 he was nominated for the same award for the film Confession [3] . He was nominated for AACTA for Best Actor in the movie Black Cassock [4] .

Bluto received the award for Best Actor at the Gijon International Film Festival for his role in the film Addiction. [4]
