Biography
In 1966 he graduated from the Vladivostok Art College, in 1977 - the Far Eastern Institute of Arts. He worked as an artist in a folk theater and taught painting in high school.
Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1980. Participant in city, regional, zonal, republican and international exhibitions since 1978. Works are in the Primorsky State Art Gallery (Vladivostok); Chita State Art Gallery; Gallery "Arch" (Vladivostok); Miral Museum of Fine Arts (Seoul, Republic of Korea); private collections in Russia and abroad.
The artist’s work is based on the unique Far Eastern nature, peasant labor, the usual surrounding life and his contemporaries. Author's stories unfold against the backdrop of his own house, the summer cottage of the artist V. Suslov, in the capital of the Republic of Korea - Seoul. Among the works: Triptych “Night Seoul”, “The Imperial Court”, “Cottage of the artist V. Suslov”, “Taiga Village” and others. “The birthday of the granddaughter of Olya”.
