Magenta Skycode is a Finnish English-speaking indie rock band from Turku . It consisted of five (previously seven) participants. The band’s leader, Jori Sjöroos, is also known as the former drummer of the Thergothon funeral doom , Fu-Tourist, and the producer of PMMP .

The name of the group is taken from the name of the first album of the band This Empty Flow , formed by former members of Thergothon immediately after its breakup.
The group broke up in 2014.
