Sotaki are carriers of Sotak dialects belonging to the eastern range of the East Slovak dialect of the Slovak language . These dialects were formed as a result of long linguistic contacts with Rusyn (Lemkovo) dialects - they note the East Slavic influence in phonetics and morphology , as well as numerous Ukrainianisms in vocabulary (possibly the East Slavic substrate ) [4] . The name Sotakov comes from the interrogative pronoun so used in their dialects ( words. Letter. Čo “what”) [5] .
