History
It is referred to as the village of Konec at Lake Korobinsky on the map of Novgorod governorship of 1792 by A. M. Wilbrecht [2] .

The number of inhabitants according to the family lists of 1879: 16 m. P.; according to the parish records of 1879: 16 m. p. [3]
The village administratively belonged to the Peldush volost of the 2nd zemsky district of the 2nd camp of the Tikhvin district of the Novgorod province .
KORBENICHI - a churchyard on church ground near Lake Korbensky, the number of yards - 2, the number of houses - 2, no residents; Church. The churchyard is adjacent to the village of Chasovenskoye-Korbenichi.
KORBENICHI (MOVIKOVA MOUNTAIN) - the village of Alekseyevsky Zemsky Society at Lake Korbensky, the number of yards - 12, the number of houses - 12, the number of residents: 38 m., 45 w. P.; Adjacent to the Korbenichi graveyard.

From 1917 to 1918 the village was called Korbinichi and was part of the Peldush volost of the Tikhvin district of the Novgorod province.
Since 1918, as part of the Cherepovets province .
Since 1927, as part of the Alekseevsky Village Council of the Kapshinsky District [5] .
According to 1933, the village of Korbenichi was the administrative center of the Alekseevsky village council of the Kapshinsky district [6] .
According to 1936, the village of Chasovenskoye was the administrative center of the Alekseevsky Village Council [7]
In 1950, the population of the village was 121 people.
In 1961, the population of the village was 117 people.
Since 1963, as part of the Tikhvin region [5] .
According to the data of 1966 and 1973, the village of Korbenichi was again the administrative center of the Alekseevsky village council [8] [9] .
According to 1990 data, 36 people lived in the village of Korbenichi . The village was the administrative center of the Alekseevsky Village Council, which included 6 settlements: the villages of Bereg, Korbenichi , Nyurgovichi, Ozorovichi, Ust-Kapsh, Kharagenichi, with a total population of 131 people [10] .
In 1997, 51 people lived in the village of Korbenichi, Alekseevskaya volost, in 2002 - 43 people (Russians - 74%, Vepsians - 26%). The village was the administrative center of Alekseevsky volost [11] [12] .
In 2007, 40 people lived in the village of Korbenichi of the Pashozersky joint venture [13] .
Geography
The village is located in the north-eastern part of the district on the northern shore of Lake Kapshozero and on the southern - Alekseevsky .
The highway 41K-019 ( Yavshinitsy - Gankovo ) passes to the west of the village.
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 29 km [13] .
The distance to the district center is 126 km [9] .

Transport
The access road is a grader from the side of the village of Pashozero . A pontoon bridge is thrown over Kapshozero.
There is a regular bus service to the village of Shugozero , the bus may not reach the village, turning around in front of the pontoon bridge.
The road indicated on the maps to the village of Nyurgovichi is practically impassable for all types of transport, except for special ones. Communication with Nyurgovich is carried out on the lake.
