Anatoly Ivanovich Pevtsov ( May 24, 1930 - September 14, 2013 ) - Soviet athlete and modern pentathlon coach. Honored trainer of the USSR (1971), master of sports of the USSR in modern pentathlon. Biography
Anatoly Pevtsov was born on May 24, 1930 in Tbilisi . He began to practice modern pentathlon in 1952. He played for the Dynamo Sports Society of Tbilisi. As part of the Georgian SSR team, he took part in the I and II Spartakiad of the peoples of the USSR . He graduated from the Georgian State Institute of Culture From the late 80s to 2001, he worked as a trainer, and then director of the Riding School at the Central Moscow Hippodrome .
In August 2012, Anatoly Ivanovich suffered a stroke , after which he was practically motionless. Anatoly Pevtsov died on September 14, 2013. He was buried at the 20th section of the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow .
