History

The brick temple, which is a monument of the Neo-Russian style, was erected in 1904 [1] [2] [5] [6] [3] . According to 1993, it was listed as a former temple [7] . At the moment, there are no thrones in the temple [4] .

Architecture

The architecture of the temple is characterized by a longitudinal-axial volumetric multifaceted composition. It is formed by a narthex , refectory , prayer hall with side aisles and a five - sided apse with three-sided sacristy [Comm 1] [1] [2] . As a coating for various parts of the composition, individual sloping gable roofs were used, while the initial coating was not preserved [3] . To design the entrance, a locker was used on four “ melon ” pillars through which the arched arches were thrown. Researchers note the richness and rich finish of unplastered facades with architectural plastics. So, cornices with crackers , platbands with kokoshniks , paired (double) columns , jagged and curb friezes and so on are mentioned [1] [2] [3] . For lighting, window openings of various shapes, cut in the facades, were used. In the interior, flat false ceilings were used as overlapping [3] .
