Operation
One HD 21 (registration number SE-ACY) was used by Carl Gustav von Rosen in a Red Cross mission during the Italian invasion of Abyssinia in 1935 . The rest were delivered to the aviation training center in Lipetsk . A slightly smaller, but structurally similar version of the HD 29 made its first flight in 1925 , it provided for the possibility of accommodating a third crew member and a 100-liter Siemens motor was installed. from.
