Khosroev, Razmik Nikodimovich

Razmik Nikadimovich Khosroev (born May 3, 1949, village of Gol-Aisor, Armenia) is an Armenian film and theater actor, director, screenwriter, and public figure. Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia (2008).

Biography

Born in 1949 in with. Gol Aisor, in an Assyrian large family. Father Nikodim Khosroev, a descendant of Assyrian refugees from Salmast, mother Arpine Yeghiazaryan, daughter of an Armenian priest. As a result of the Stalinist repressions of the Assyrians in 1949, the family moved to the Vedi district center.

In 1970, he graduated from Vardan Adzhemyan’s studio in Yerevan. From 1974 to 1979 he studied at the Kirovakan State Pedagogical Institute. He worked at the Kirovakan State Drama Theater. Chairman of the Coordinating Council for the Culture of National Minorities under the President of the Republic of Armenia. He is engaged in the preservation and development of the culture of the ethnic group of national minorities, has published numerous articles in the Armenian press, has appeared on television and in international forums. Member of the Commission of the Public Council for Education, Science and Culture.
