The internal Macedonian revolutionary organization, the People’s Party ( VMRO-NP ), is a conservative political party in Macedonia . Founded in Skopje on July 4, 2004 by supporters of Lyubcho Georgievsky , who left VMRO DPMNE after an unsuccessful attempt to seize the party leadership by Nikolai Gruevsky . The relatively unknown Spring of Dzhanevsk was elected president of the party, and Lyubcho Georgievsky was considered the party's informal leader. The first VMRO-NP congress was held on April 22, 2007, where Georgi Trendafilov was elected president of the party.

At the Parliamentary elections in 2006, VMRO-NP acted independently, winning 6.1% of the vote and 6 seats in the Macedonian Assembly. VMRO-NP did not become part of the ruling coalition, but voted for the government of Nikola Gruevski in order to prevent the penetration of the Democratic Union for integration into the government.
In 2007, the party began to experience an internal crisis. On March 1, his representative George Orovtsanets announced that he was leaving the party, after the election of Georgi Trendafilov, the head of VMRO-NP stated that he would demand the support of the government, the former acting The party’s president, Dzhaniewska, began to publicly express his displeasure with the party. This led to the expulsion from the party of Spring Dzhanevsk and Valentin Botsinovsk, after which they became independent deputies.
At the Parliamentary elections in 2008, VMRO-NP did not participate.
December 27, 2008 VMRO-NP The Central Committee terminated Georgi Trendafilov’s membership and elected Marian Dodowski as the party’s president.
In 2009, in the local and presidential elections, VMRO - NP worked independently of each other in 40 municipalities and the city of Skopje, or in less than half of the territory of the Republic of Macedonia. With a total of 43,000 votes, VMRO-NP was a surprise in this election, and it established itself as the third entity in the Macedonian political bloc.
October 23, the day VMRO VMRO-NP held its 14th Congress. At the Congress, by acclamation, the new party president, Marjan Dodowski, was elected.
At the end of 2009, VMRO-NP took the initiative to change the emblem of the Republic of Macedonia. A Land Weapon 1620 was proposed, a golden yellow lion on a red background.
March 14, 2010 Central Committee VMRO-NP, held in Ohrid, at which the new Party Executive Committee was elected.
March 20, 2011 the annual meeting of VMRO - NP in Skopje was held. In the Parliamentary elections in 2011, VMRO-NP received 28,217 votes (2.51%), but did not win a single seat.
There is also a youth organization - the VMRO-NP Union of Young Forces, chaired by Dino Blazhevsky.
