1957 Luge World Championship

The 3rd World Luge Championship was held from January 26 to January 27, 1957 on the luge and bobsleigh track in Davos ( Switzerland ). This championship is significant in that for the first time the event was held under the auspices of the International Luge Federation (FIL), which was formed at the beginning of that year.
