The name Malaya ulitsa appeared in the 1750s, simultaneously with the Front (now Sadovaya ) and Middle streets.
September 4, 1919 became the street of the Revolution - in honor of VOSR . July 7, 1993 the historical name - Malaya ulitsa - was returned [1] .
On November 7, 2006, a monument to Lenin, formerly standing in the Tauride Garden of St. Petersburg, was erected in a park on the corner of Konyushennaya and Malaya Streets. Sculptor - V. B. Pinchuk . On the evening of December 6, 2010, unidentified persons blew up the monument. The return was delayed due to the lack of a balance holder. The Communist Party promised to facilitate a return [2] , but so far (November 2018) this has not happened.
