Heinkel HD 19 ( German: Heinkel Doppeldecker 19 ) is a German fighter developed by the German company Heinkel on the order of the Swedish Air Force .

Operation
The contract provided for the production of six HD 19 fighters. The first two were to be built at the Heinkel factory, and the remaining four were to be built at the Svenska Aero AB factory in Stockholm . The aircraft was equipped with a Bristol Jupiter VI engine. The first aircraft was tested in Warnemunde in July 1928 . A few months after the tests, the aircraft began to enter the arsenal of the F2 squadron, where they received the Swedish designation J4. In 1934 , the three remaining aircraft were transferred to the F1 squadron [1] .
Heinkel HD 30
In 1928, an HD 30 reconnaissance seaplane was launched on the basis of the HD 19 aircraft. It differed from the HD 19 in larger dimensions and the Gnome et Rhone Jupiter VI 9Ak engine with a capacity of 520 liters. from. The HD.30 was intended for use on small and medium-sized vessels using a steam catapult. In total, two copies of the aircraft were built [2] .
