Sapronov Publisher is one of the most successful and well-known private publishing houses in Russia [1] . The achievements of the publishing house have been repeatedly awarded with prestigious book exhibitions.

Products under the brand name "Publisher Sapronov" began to be produced since 1999. Over the years the publisher has existed, he has published more than 100 types of literary works by such authors as Victor Astafyev , Valentin Rasputin , Lev Anninsky , Leonid Borodin , Vasil Bykov , Evgeny Nosov , Valentin Kurbatov , Dmitry Sergeyev . A characteristic feature of the publisher’s book products is the high quality of artistic and printing performance, which allowed them to produce quality gift editions. Book design by Irkutsk artist Sergei Eloyan was repeatedly noted by diplomas of the Russian Association of Book Publishers , prestigious national competitions [2] [3] . Among the gift editions were: “Tsar-fish” by Viktor Astafiev, a four-volume book by Valentin Rasputin and his “ Farewell to Matera ”, “Earth at Baikal”, “ Siberia, Siberia ... ” [Comm 1] , as well as letters from the conductor Evgeny Kolobov - “Maestro Evgeny Kolobov ” [4] . The publishing house also released albums by Yuri Seliverstov and Sergey Eloyan. The book "Consonance" was published with a disc of classical music.
The editor of the publishing house was Agnes Fedorovna Gremitskaya; founder and owner Gennady Konstantinovich Sapronov (1952-2009) [Comm 2] . In an interview with one of the Irkutsk newspapers, G. Sapronov said:
I strive to create a book that I myself want to buy and put on a shelf, even if it weren’t for me to be its publisher. I work for my pleasure, publish those authors that are interesting to me not because I'm so picky, I just want to do what I like, what excites creative excitement. My publishing house is my books, my circle of authors: V. Astafiev, V. Rasputin, V. Kurbatov, L. Anninsky, E. Nosov and others. My team, my view of things, my taste. Everything is piece here and, believe me, is not so easy and simple
The publishing house regularly participated in non-fairs exhibitions [5] .
The contribution made by the founder of the publishing house, G.K. Sapronov, to the development of the book industry of Russia was duly appreciated in 2014 at the district level:
“... On October 10, a unique event occurred in the history of Russian culture. For the first time in Russia, the library was named after the publisher: in Irkutsk, library No. 4 named after Gennady Sapronov. "

Sapronov worked as secretary of the Kirovsky district committee of the Komsomol of Irkutsk. He was deputy (1979-1985), then editor of the newspaper "Soviet Youth", his own correspondent for Komsomolskaya Pravda (1985-1991) in Eastern Siberia and Mongolia, and edited the only literary newspaper "Green Lamp" in Siberia (early 1990s. ) He wrote two books: “The degree of guilt” and “Dialogues about Siberia”. He died suddenly on July 14, 2009.
