Leonid Hanukayev was born on October 11, 1969 in Moscow . At the age of six, he and his parents went to live in Havana , where his father worked in the field of agriculture . Mama Hanukayeva - a native of Lviv , worked as a seller, traded imported things from the United States . In 1984 he returned to Moscow. Many people learned about the entrepreneur Leonid Hanukayev when he built the Belpostel sales network from scratch, specializing in bed linen. Hanukayev gave Belpostel to his partners, after which they had to close half of the stores - it turned out that they were unprofitable ^[2] .

A year later, Hanukkaev decided to build in Moscow the first textile hypermarket "Rag". The shopping center could not be opened for a long time, then Hanukayev, without finishing it, transferred the project to the Tashir company. In the rebranding and completion of the construction of "Rags" (now it is the Rio shopping center on the Leningradskoye Highway), Tashir has invested another $ 20 million ^[2] .

In 2008, Leonid Hanukayev - already as a manager - was attracted by businessmen brothers Ahmed and Magomed Bilalov, close to President Dmitry Medvedev, to build the Gorky Gorod resort in Sochi. It should have been completed by the end of 2011, but did not meet the deadlines. Khanukayev left the project, and disrupting the construction period cost Bilalov dearly - increasing the project’s budget from 1.2 billion to eight billion rubles; they had a conflict with the investor Sberbank, and Ahmed Bilalov himself was dismissed from his post as Vice-President of the Olympic Committee and the head of the state company "Resorts of the North Caucasus" ^[2] .

As the investigator of the Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Directorate of the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow Aziev, director of Avtobaza Ilyinskoe, Vladimir Veschikov, pointed out in his resolution, that under the terms of the contract he carried out earthworks for the amount of 18 million rubles, but did not receive money . True, the arbitration court ruled to recover the debt, but the decision of the Arbitration Court of the city of Moscow dated 08.02.2016. the debtor of Pole Service LLC (TIN 7743640405, BIN 5077746677949) was declared insolvent (bankrupt), the assets of Pole Service LLC were withdrawn. A similar story was told by the director of LLC Uvarovskaya PMK-22, which built the road to the future “Country of Children”. The company spent more than 4 million rubles from its own funds on laying the road, which, despite the existing court decision, is also impossible. ^{[3] [7]}

By the decision of the Arbitration Court of Moscow dated January 30, 2017 in the case of А40-223226 / 15 ZAO Country of Children is declared insolvent (bankrupt). ^[eight]
