Biography
Born September 26, 1894 . Since 1914, he began his career as a laboratory assistant at the Bendendorff Refinery in Baku . In 1920 - 1924 he worked as a chemist in the Azneft association. Since 1924 he lived in Moscow , worked at the All-Union Thermotechnical Institute as a researcher, head of the laboratory. In 1932-1934 he worked at the State Oil Research Institute, headed the department, then was the deputy director of the institute [1] .
From 1934 until his death, Chernozhukov taught at the IMI named after I.M. Gubkin . For many years he headed the department of chemistry and technology of oils and lubricants. In addition, he worked at Glavneft as the head of the sector, the chief chemist, the head of the sector, a member of the technical council, and also worked in a number of other institutions of the oil industry. In 1939, Chernozhukov was approved as a professor, and in 1944 he defended his doctoral dissertation. He was a member of the editorial board of the journal “Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils”, headed the oil refining sections of scientific and technical councils as part of the USSR Ministry of Petroleum Industry, the USSR State Committee for Fuel, the USSR State Committee for the Chemical and Petroleum Industry, and a member and deputy chairman of the Higher Committee of Experts Certification Commission for Chemical Technology. At his institute, he led the Specialized Academic Council [1] .
He was the author of over 200 scientific papers, some of which were translated into other languages and repeatedly reprinted, 18 books and teaching aids. [1] .
He died on July 4, 1971 . He was buried in Moscow at the Don cemetery [1] .
