Sports career
He advocated for the sports society "Steel" from Rzeszow (1961-1978). Champion of Poland in:
- 1967, 1969, 1970 - light heavyweight,
- 1971 - in heavy weight,
- 1973-1976 - super heavyweight.
At the World Championships in Sofia (1971) he won a bronze medal in the heavyweight category. At the European Championship in Wrestling in Helsinki (1973) he took 4th place in the heavyweight category.
Member of the Summer Olympics in Munich (1972), at which he was the eighth in the heavyweight category.
