Career
Filipe Augusto began his career at the age of 16 at the Bahia club. On February 29, 2012, the footballer made his team debut in a match with the Magno Cruz State Championship [3] . After spending one season on the team, the footballer was sold for 2.2 million euros in the Portuguese Rio Ave [4] . The debut of the midfielder took place on August 18 in a meeting with Maritimo . In the first season, Filipe became the player of the team's base, having spent 28 matches. After the 2013/14 season, other clubs became interested in the player, in particular Benfica [5] and Valencia [6] . September 1, 2014 the footballer was rented by Valencia. The player’s transfer value amounted to 350 thousand euros [7] . According to the president of Rio Ave, the rent of Filipe Augusto allowed “to balance the club’s accounts” [8] .
